Dylan Stent

Dylan Stent is a recipient of the 2018 Korea Foundation Fellowship for Graduate Studies and is currently a PhD candidate in the School of History, Philosophy, Political Science and International Relations at Victoria University of Wellington.

His study focuses on national security, identity, inter-Korean diplomacy, and nationalism on the Korean Peninsula. He received his Master of Global Affairs and Policy from Yonsei University’s Graduate School of International Studies, where he studied topics ranging from East Asian security, intelligence and Russia’s relationship with CIS states.

Stent has published work in academic and popular publications including recent articles in The Diplomat and the New Zealand International Review.
