Qin (Kiko) Qin
Qin Qin, commonly known as Kiko, is currently a PhD student at Lincoln University. She holds a Master’s degree focused on rural tourism planning and eight years of lecturing experience in university. Kiko is a culture-focused researcher in the leisure study area. Her belief in leisure as the bridge to improving cultural understanding and communication inspired her study and research. Her current project is about the influence of original culture on Mainland Chinese students’ outdoor recreation in New Zealand. This research adopts theories from both cultural anthropology and human geography.
Kiko is also the Representative of Lincoln University in Early Careered Researchers of NZGS (New Zealand Geographical Society) and a member of the NZGS Canterbury branch.
