Tracey Epps
Tracey Epps is an international lawyer and trade policy consultant based in Wellington, New Zealand. She has more than 18 years' experience as an academic, legal advisor and negotiator; including seven years as a senior advisor in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFAT) Trade Law Unit. During this time she acted as the lead legal counsel for New Zealand's negotiating team in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) negotiations.
Tracey works with the private sector and government on all aspects of international trade law, including import and export formalities and requirements, customs matters, World Trade Organisation (WTO) rules, free trade agreements (FTAs), trade remedies, export controls and sanctions.
She has authored and edited a number of books and articles in the field and teaches International Trade Regulation and International Investment Law on a part-time basis in the Faculty of Law at the University of Otago.
